ping und vista

Da der Ping auf www.computerbase.de ok zu sein scheint empfehle ich einfach mal bei den COD4 herstellern nachzufragen. Eventuell ist Ihnen ein Problem mit Vista und COD4 bekannt.
Alternativ einfach Vista mal mit allen neuen Treibern neu installieren.
Gibts wohl nur den Weg dich so an das Problem ranzukämpfen.

angerungen, werde in den nächsten tagen vista neu
drauf setzen.

Hab mal bei Google gesucht und folgendes gefunden:

First off, do some research folks... this is a known issue caused by the 1.4 patch and is being talked about on all the CoD4 related forums. The problem is not "your ping", but is a bug in the server browser that is causing it to display very incorrect pings for some people... so you hop into a server you think is giving you a 70 ping, but in reality, your ping is 200... and vice versa. Hop in some of the 1000+ ping servers and you might discover you have a ping of 40! Its all messed up... but only seems to be effecting random people.

Secondly, you can not reinstall the patch... it will tell you "patch already installed" and wont let you go any further.

Third of all, yes, the add to favorite trick works and will then show correct ping.

And lastly, you can use X-Fire server browser as a cheap work around for the moment... until Infinity Ward fixes this.

Google schmeißt bei den Stichworten "Vista Ping CoD4" einiges aus.

ich habe heute auch festgestellt dass mein ping schlechter geworden ist. ob das jetzt genau nachm wechseln von xp auf vista war kann ich nicht sagen. ist mir erst nach 3 wochen vista aufgefallen.
mein ping war früher immer 20 bis 30 und jetzt ist er 60 bis 70
wenns nicht besser wird veruche ich vista neu druff zu machen

Ich kann das auch nicht unterschreiben da ich mit Vista und Q**** 3 immer einen Ping von ~ 8 habe (DSL 6000 inkl. FP).
