intel x48 crossfire x technische frage

hallo

möchte mir einen neuen pc zusammenstellen und habe wegen dem mainboard noch ein paar fragen.
also ich möchte ein Asus Rampage Formula X48 S775 mainboard mit 2 ati 4870x2 betreiben
jetzt meine frage
ist somit crossfire x möglich und habe ich dann auch 2 x 16lanes also 16lanes auf jeder karte oder teilen sie sich die lanes??

Jaha . Du kannst mit dem Mainboard CrossFire und CrossFire X machen , denn schau hier :

Beide PCI-Express(x16) Steckplätze sind mit vollen 16 Lanes angebunden .

was haltet ihr von diesem system?
HARDWARESCHOTTE ist die einzige seite die crossfire x angibt , sicher dass das unterstützt wird
da ich sonst keine infos finde

crossfire x ist auf jeden crossfire fähigen board möglich. habe es auf selbst auf meinen alten asus p5b deluxe/wifi mit p965 chipsatz gehabt. es wird durch den treiber gesteuert und ist kein feature von einen mb.

hm, auf der Asus Page ist nicht von CrossfireX die rede.

der Überbegriff ist "Crossfire" da jeder X38/x48 Chipsatz über zwei 16x PCIe Steckplätze verfügt isses egal welche Karte du reinstecksts...

2 Single GPU = Crossfire
2 Multi GPU = CrossfireX
1 Single GPU + 1 Multi GPU = CrossfireX

Du kannst deine Frage zwar jetzt nochmal stellen, die Antworten werden allerdings nicht anders ausfallen
