Lian Li PC-C39B - schwache Fernbedienung?

Hallo Caseking,


ich wollte euch fragen, ob der IR Empfänger des Lian Li PC-C39B wirklich so schwach ist, wie im Internet zu lesen, bzw. ob es mehrere Revisionen von dem HTPC Gehäuse gibt/gab?

Ich habe schon etliche Berichte gelesen, wo gesagt wird, dass man die Fernbedienung ab 20-60cm vergessen kann, was ja nun nicht Sinn und Zweck eines remote controllers ist

also ehrlich gesagt ist mir das Problem vollkommen unbekannt. Über mehere Gehäuserevisionen liegen mir auch auch keine Infos vor.

Pros: This case looks absolutely wonderful sitting under my stereo. Airflow seems to be good and keeps my HTPC running cool and quiet.

Cons: The RF sensor for the remote only has a range of about 2' unless you crack the top of the case which drops this equipment to 4 eggs in my book. Only room for 2 internal HD

Other Thoughts: Based off of all the documentation I have found online the remote is actually RF which means I can't set up my universal IR remote to interface with thsi case. By opening the top of the case (even slightly) range for the RF remote increases to the entire room.

This is the nicest looking HTPC case I have seen out there and I am happy to have it however due to the usability of the remote I probably should have gone with the PC-C37B




Pros: The case itself is wonderfully constructed, it looks great, and is very quiet, all the things I was looking for. As an added bonus, this is an upgrade over the PC-C37B because it has an integrated remote control module and remote control.

Cons: I paid $50 over the price of the PC-C37B for a remote control that doesn't work, hasn't ever worked, and the tech support from Lian-Li is nonexistent. I tried using their "contact us" link on their webpage with no response. I tried using their forum, nobody has bothered to get back to me.

Hier kannst du mehr nachlesen. Ich würde mir das Gehäuse in naher Zukunft wohl gern kaufen, aber diese Bewertungen schrecken mich leider etwas ab.

Über eine schwache Funkfernbedienung hat sich bislang auch kein Kunde von uns beschwert, vielleicht ist es aber auch einfach nicht aufgefallen.

Der zweite Fall ist aber eindeutig eine RMA und das wird ja normalerweise auch getauscht. Funktionieren sollte es nämlich schon .

Habt ihr denn schon "viele" verkauft? Denn Bewertungen findet man auf geizhals zB nicht - deswegen tippe ich mal auf eine nicht allzu hohe Nachfrage bzw. denke, dass nicht allzu viele Leute das Gehäuse haben.

"Viele" ist ja sehr relativ. Aber da das Gehäuse seit fast anderthalb Jahren bei uns verkauft wird, kann man eigentlich davon ausgehen, dass sehr viel mehr als angenommen verkauft wurde. Zahlen kann ich aber nicht nennen. Zudem sind ja Lian Li Gehäuse immer begehrt.
