Erst einmal. USB Stick in FAT32 einrichten. Kein NTFS. Und dann, ich sagte es ja, es gibt von dem MSI Z68 GD55 mehrere Versionen. Da solltest Du sicher stellen, das Bios für das richtige Board herunter zu laden.

Mit dem Update auf ME8 hat das Null zu tun. Das geschieht, wenn Du das Bios Update durchführst.

Und natürlich läuft Dein Sandy auch unter ME8. Da musst Du Null bedenken haben.

Ergänzung:

Es sieht ganz danach aus. Du hast das falsche Bios herunter geladen.

Es ist nicht das Falsche file.

Das entpackt führt zu nem Exe, was rumhupt, wenn man es nicht
a) auf nem Usb-stick ausführt und
b) das nicht als admin ausführt

Dann läuft der Balken durch der den Flashprozess anzeigen soll, zeitlich ist das auch relatistisch.
Man soll denn beim restart den Stick drinlassen, damit ME geupdatet werden kann, der reboot sieht aber nicht so aus, als ob da noch etwas nachgeflasht wird (oder aber es geht sauschnell), die Kiste bootet.
Schaut man ins Bios bleibt es aber bei der N-Version und dem 7.xy ME....

hatte auch schon andere, ältere P-Bios Versionen versucht, hier das gleiche Resultat. Kriege nichtmal die erste P-Version überhaupt drauf.

Edit: Das Bios ist prinzipiell beschreibbar, hatte eben zum Test mal ne ältere N-Version probiert, die tut es ohne Probleme... Versionierung wird auch korrekt im Bios angezeigt.

Ist der Stick in FAT32 formatiert? Sonst wird das Board vermutlich nach dem ersten Neustart keine Daten auf ihn finden. NTFS und Bios verträgt sich nicht.

yo ist er. Mir gehen aber so langsam die Ideen aus.

Versuche das unter Win10 auszuführen. Antivirus ist aus, damit nichts dazwischenfunkt...
ggf. mal nen abgesicherten Modus testen?
Die letzte Version vom Bios kann eh nicht funktionieren. So schnell kann gar kein 8mb biosfile geflasht werden.
Ich glaube ich schreibe mal MSI an... mal sehen ob für mein Museum noch etwas zurückkommt.

I tried to Flash 25.8, P-1 and other versions.

I tried to boot from a pc-dos and tried to flash the Bios with C:afude303.exe a7681ims.p80 but there is a message that the PI version differs and its NOT recommended to flash. I did not do that because I want not brick my mainboard.

Can you please give me a hint how to flash to a P bios version?

I would like to install a new grapic adapter: Radeon 580 Nitro 8GB, so its required to get through the latest Bios revision.

Maybe the PC would not reach the Bios post with the new graphics adapter due to too old sub-firmware.

Ja schön wärs... die haben aber alle nur noch Macbooks. Hab hier noch ne Kiste, aber das ist ein i3 sandy und das Netzteil hat nur 1x 6pin...
Hamburch... war das ein Angebot? :-P

Bis zum Redaktionsschluss hat sich aber niemand von MSI selbst auf mein Ticket zurückgemeldet.

Doof: Für die Sandybridge gibt es kein Bios-OC mehr. Da muss nun das "Intel XTU" herhalten. Vermutlich hat MSI daher für die Sandy Bridge das Update nicht empfohlen. OC Board ohne OC... löl.

Die 580 rennt nun. Erst mit ME8 ist die Lauffähig, wie es aussieht.
