Im ersten Szenario der Multitasking-Tests läuft das Spiel The Witcher 3, während nebenbei das Packprogramm WinRAR Dateien packt. Im zweiten Test verrichtet WinRAR neben Cinebench R15 seine Arbeit. Kleine CPUs mit zwei Threads und geringem Takt haben im Multitasking ganz klar das Nachsehen. Beim gleichzeitigem Packen und Witcher 3 ruckelt das Spiel auf Celeron und Pentium deutlich, manchmal bleibt es sogar für Bruchteile von Sekunden stehen. Spielspaß kommt erst mit einem Core i3 auf.

Beim kombinierten Mehr-Kern-Test mit Cinebench R15 und WinRAR gibt es nicht minder interessante Ergebnisse. Auch hier sind die CPUs mit zwei Kernen/Threads klar auf der Verliererseite, die Leistung in Cinebench bei paralleler Nutzung von WinRAR bricht massiv ein, der Fortschrittsbalken kommt zwischenzeitlich nahezu zum Stillstand. WinRAR braucht hingegen kaum mehr Zeit zum Packen, dort dauert alles nur einige Sekunden länger. Eine Ausnahme bildet der Celeron: Hier wird auch WinRAR zur Qual.
